I fell in love with painting in college, though the image of it began much earlier. My grandmother worked at a small easel in her kitchen, creating landscapes and seascapes inspired by northeastern coves.

My own practice is led by acrylic, with ongoing experiments in oil, airbrush, and pigment stick. I bring the graphic clarity of design and the playful instincts of illustration into the work, choosing subjects for the simple reason that they bring me joy.
