IMG Events Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2024

Hyde Park
Winter Wonderland

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland began in 2007 as a small Christmas funfair on Hyde Park’s Parade Ground. By 2024, it had become one of London’s largest annual events, bringing more than 100 rides and attractions, skating, live shows, markets, food, and nightlife into one seasonal destination.

At IMG Events, I helped translate a refreshed identity into a social-first campaign for the 2024 season. My work focused on motion design, social templates, and the rollout of the brand’s new 3D hero graphics. I also evolved the previous season’s Polaroid treatment into a flexible ticket-shaped frame, creating a consistent way to feature attractions, practical information, and seasonal announcements across digital channels.

A New Visual World

The refreshed brand needed to feel as expansive and multigenerational as the event itself. A family of luminous 3D hero scenes brought its attractions, atmosphere, and Hyde Park setting into one visual world. In motion, those scenes became high-impact entry points for social storytelling and campaign launches.

A Social System in Motion

Rather than treating each post as a standalone execution, I developed repeatable motion templates around a ticket-shaped image frame. The system replaced the previous Polaroid device with a sharper, more flexible structure that could shift between attraction features, top tips, ticketing, and live event updates while keeping the refreshed identity recognizable.
