Honeyland
Honeyland is a two-day festival celebrating Black creativity through music, food, drink, and cultural programming.
For the inaugural 2023 festival in Sugar Land, Texas, I worked with IMG to help build an expressive identity designed to move. My contribution focused on motion design and production, animated lockups, and brand applications that carried the system across campaign media, digital content, OOH, merchandise, and the on-site experience.

Identity
in Motion
I developed a motion language that gave the festival identity rhythm, flexibility, and a distinct sense of energy. Animated lockups shifted through scale, repetition, color, and composition, allowing the system to stay recognizable while constantly changing.
Campaign
System
The motion language was anchored by a flexible static system for launch and ticketing. Bold typographic lockups, vivid color, portraiture, food imagery, and graphic patterning gave the campaign a consistent voice across mobile, modular posters, and large-scale OOH.
Physical
Identity
The system extended into merchandise and festival touchpoints, translating Honeyland’s expressive identity into a quieter, wearable collection while preserving the recognizable typography, color, and lockups of the wider brand.
